Annual ‘Taste Of Chocolate’ Set For Saturday

Make a special date this Saturday, Feb. 9, to attend the annual “Taste of Chocolate” event, sponsored by the Friends of the Lincoln Library. Doors open at 10 a.m. (no earlier) and stay until all sold out.

Buy ready-packaged boxes or fill your own for only $5 with the many varied choices of goodies that make nice gifts for friends, a significan­t other, or for your own treat.

Place pre-orders by calling 824-3294. There will be no pre-sales. Friends of the Library membership cards will be available also at the library for $10 per person or $15 per family.

— Marie Roy A little humor: A man was in a hurry, taking his son to elementary school, and made a turn at a red light where it was illegal.

“Oh no, I think I just made an illegal turn,” he said.

“Its okay, Dad,” his son said. “The police car right behind us did the same thing.”
