Florence Evelyn Sumner
PRAIRIE GROVE — Florence Evelyn Sumner, 76, a resident of Prairie Grove, passed away Feb. 11, 2013, in Prairie Grove. She was born July 11, 1936, in Knoxville, Ark., the daughter of William and Mamie Elam Manning.
She retired as an inspector for the USDA.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Jack West, Leo Ray Smith, and Jack Sumner; two children, Jacklyn Sue and Jimmy Jack.
Survivors include two sons, Billy West of Lincoln and Nathan West and wife Wendy of Prairie Grove; four daughters, Judy Thomas and husband Roy of West Siloam Springs, Jody Snider and husband David of Lincoln, and Sharon Kay Sipes and husband Henry, all of Lincoln, and Patricia Daniels of Colcord, Okla.; one sister, Lillian Stormant of Van Buren; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services were held Feb. 15, 2013, at Beaty Cemetery in Lincoln.

Shirley Henbest
LINCOLN — Shirley Henbest, 79, a resident of Lincoln, passed away Feb. 8, 2013. She was born June 13, 1933, in Kansas the daughter of Guy and Ruby Howe Rominger.
Shirley was preceded in death by her husband, John Henbest, one daughter, Donna Hillmann and one sister, Detta Slinkard.
Survivors include one son, Glenn Fields of Springdale; two sisters, Betty Day and Arletta Ragland; four grandchildren, Amanda Martinez, Ben Fields, Missie Oliver and Mindie. No services are planned. Arrangements were under the direction of the Luginbuel Funeral Home of Prairie Grove.

Deraetha Sue Madison
STRICKLER — Deraetha Sue Madison, 50, a resident of Strickler, passed away Feb. 3, 2013, at her home. She was born June 5, 1962, in Turlock, Calif., the daughter of Floyd J. and Juanita Mae Miller Brown.
She was preceded in death by her parents and four brothers, Steven Andrews, Shelby Brown, Mike Brown and Rodney Brown.
Her favorite pastime was to go to the casinos.
Survivors include one brother, Rick Brown; one ex-sister-in-law, Cheryl Andrews; one nephew, Christopher Steven Lee Andrews; two nieces, Heather Lynn Brown and Daisy May Brown; cousins, Carolyn Snow, Charlene Bruce Don and Delinda Cross; and one uncle, Dan Brown.
Funeral service was held Feb. 15, 2013, at Luginbuel Chapel. Burial was in Fall Creek Cemetery in Strickler.

Judy Ann Sanders
CANE HILL — Judy Ann Sanders, 60, a resident of Cane Hill, passed away Feb. 15, 2013, in Fayetteville. She was born Sept. 30, 1952, in Oklahoma City, Okla., the daughter of Roy and Annie Marie Remington Easter.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Leroy Easter. one daughter, Linda Ann Sanders.
Survivors include three brothers, Ronnie Easter, Rickey Easter and James Easter, all of Morrow; two sisters, Mildred Hamilton and Patsy Patton, both of Morrow; 14 nieces and nephews.
Funeral Service was held Feb. 18, 2013, at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove. Burial was in the Prairie Grove Cemetery.

Bobby R. Thompson
PRAIRIE GROVE — Bobby R. Thompson, 74, a resident of Prairie Grove, Ark., passed away Feb. 15, 2013, in Fayetteville, Ark. He was born July 12, 1938, at Blue eld, W.Va., the son of Harold and Helen Marie Aliff Thompson.
He served on the Eastwind Icebreaker (WAGB). He was a regular member of the Mason/ Nation Post 146 Prairie Grove; he served as commander of Post 146.
Survivors include his wife, Deborah Thompson; four sons, Bobby Earl Thompson of Fort Bragg, N.C., David Scott Thompson of Wareham, Mass., Ronald Ray Thompson of Goodland, Kan., Christopher Mantia of Rogers, Ark.; two daughters, Debra Nadine Thompson of West Siloam Springs, Okla., Murphy MacAliff Thompson of the home, Garnet Earl Thompson of Hope, Ark.; nine grandchildren; and three stepdaughters, Angie, Bonnie, Jennie.
Funeral service will be held Feb. 20, 2013, 11 a.m. Luginbuel Chapel Prairie Grove, Ark.
