Antique Store Adds More Items

- By Pat Harris ENTERPRISE-LEADER

LINCOLN — Back In The Day Antiques has been open one year this spring and recently has added plenty of new items.

Business owner, Mike Fidler, opened the business to house items such as antiques, vintage, shabby chic, industrial and cottage styles.

More remodeling has occurred inside the business with a country store added, according to Penny Oslica.

Oslica, vendor clerk, said the snack bar had been reopened with popcorn and coffee available for customers.

Customers enjoying spring weather and out looking for just the right thing for a porch, garden or to brighten a room in the house might find something among the many colorful pottery pieces now at the store. The pottery comes in all shapes and sizes.

Ironwork and medal lettering is available, as well as Maison Blanche paint and New Canaan Food spices.

The store also carries colored glass items, jewelry, handmade items for babies and toddlers, as well as household items.

“We’re going to be carrying one line of new clothing soon,” Oslica said.

Plans include adding booths near the snack bar.

Kandy Cooper is manager of Back In The Day Antiques. The store is located at 405 W. Pridemore, Lincoln. Store hours are 9-5 each day, closed on holidays.
