Jimmie Jefferson Bond

LINCOLN — Jimmie Jefferson Bond, 88, a resident of Lincoln, passed away May 7, 2013, in Fayetteville. He was born March 24, 1925 in Prairie Grove, Arkansas, the son of John Wesley and Rebecca Barker Bond.

Jimmie was preceded in death by his companion, Clara Mae “Herbie” Bateman; four brothers Lloyd, Luther, Charlie, and Henry.

Survivors include two daughters, Anetta Harrell and her husband Terry of Yukon, Okla., and Belinda Longwith and husband Nick of Prairie Grove; six grandchildren; Heather Watson, Matt Longwith, Jennifer Hayes, Candace Wesoloski, Jennifer Hillman, and Brent Harrell; twelve great grandchildren. He is also survived by Margaret and Troy

Curtsinger, Kandy, Barrett, Scott and partner LaDonna Coker, and John and wife Tonya and their families.

Funeral service was held May 10, 2013, at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove. Burial was in the Bethesda Cemetery in Morrow.

Dr. Bonifacio “Bon” Manlapig

FARMINGTON — Dr. Bonifacio “Bon” Manlapig, 83, of Farmington was born May 25, 1929, and passed away peacefully on the evening of May 6 at Washington Regional Medical Center. He was surrounded by his loving wife, Rosital; his children, Rene, Rowena and Girl; his grandson, Christian; his stepchildren, Zina and Scott; and his step-grandchil- dren, Razmus, Max and August.

Bon was born in the Phillippines and later emigrated to the United States, where he worked as a doctor of radiology at Chicago Community Hospital. After retiring from a successful medical career, he moved to Northwest Arkansas.

Bon enjoyed traveling with his wife and visiting family around the world, although he loved to spend time working around his home and shop in Farmington.

Funeral services were under the direction of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home in Fayetteville.

Margaret Quinton

PRAIRIE GROVE — Margaret Quinton, born Aug. 14, 1931, to A.G. and Edna Graham Benton in Morrow, Ark., died May 7, 2013, at her home in Prairie Grove, Ark.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. “Bob” Quinton; her parents; four sisters and seven brothers.

She is survived by one son, Roger Quinton and wife, Patsy, of Prairie Grove, Ark.; one daughter, Carolyn Quinton Farrell and husband, Earl, of Hogeye, Ark.; ve grandchildren, James Quinton and Carl Quinton of Prairie Grove, Ark., Bill Quinton of Talala, Okla., Travis Farrell and Casey Farrell of Springdale, Ark.; one brother, Richard Benton of Euless, |Texas.

Services were held Thursday, May 9, 2013, at Beard’s Chapel in Fayetteville, Ark. Burial was at Fall Creek Cemetery in Strickler, Ark.
