Thelma Lois Grigg

SPRINGDALE — Thelma Lois Grigg, age 93, of Springdale, went to meet her Lord on June 11, 2013, at the Earlene Howard Circle of Life Hospice House in Springdale. She was born April 9, 1920, in Waller, Texas, the daughter of William Aaron and Susie Lambright Boney.

She was a member of Moseley Baptist Church in West Siloam Springs and a homemaker. Mrs. Grigg enjoyed sewing and crafts of all kinds.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Houston Grigg; her parents; one son; one daughter; and one sister.

Mrs. Grigg is survived by one son, Bill Grigg and his wife, Mattie of Springdale; three daughters, Verda Winchel and her husband, Jack of Springdale, Joyce Glenn and her husband, Howard, of Springdale, and Barbara LaRue and her husband, Gary of Siloam Springs; 14 grandchild­ren; 26 great-grandchild­ren; and six great-great-grandchild­ren.

Funeral services were held June 14, 2013, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Rodney Weeks and the Rev. Johnny Harp of ciating. Burial followed in Elm Springs Cemetery.

Brosie Lee Grigson

PRAIRIE GROVE — Brosie Lee Grigson, age 77, a longtime resident of the Rhea’s Mill community near Prairie Grove, Ark., passed away June 11, 2013, in Little Rock. He was born Dec. 22, 1935, in Texarkana, Ark., the son of Horace and Mittie Davis Grigson.

He married the late Tommie Annette English Grigson in 1963 and they were together until her death in 2006.

Survivors include two sons, Ted Grigson and wife, Kecia, of Prairie Grove, and Drew Grigson and wife, Connie of Vienna, Va.; two daughters, Beth Bachelder and husband, Phil of Niger, Africa, and Jane Darnell and husband, Dan, of Maumelle; eight grandchild­ren, Emily Darnell, Daniel Darnell, Mary-Grace Grigson, Abigail Grigson, Quincy Grigson, Keziah Grigson, Karmyn Grigson and Tabitha Bachelder.

Funeral service was held June 14, 2013, at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove with burial in Rhea’s Mill Cemetery.

Cora Ailene Fults Pyeatt

LOWELL — Cora Ailene Fults Pyeatt, age 89, a resident of Lowell, passed away June 10, 2013, at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale. She was born April 3, 1924, in Compton, Ark., the daughter of Samuel and Bessie Mae Frederick Sims.

Survivors include three sons, Leon Kisner of Siloam Springs, Dean Kisner of Lowell, and Doyle Kisner of Colorado; one sister, Alma; one brother Gene Sims of Washington; four grandchild­ren; three great grandchild­ren.

The family recieved friends at Luginbuel Funeral Home.

Burial was in Bethesda Cemetery in Morrow.

FAYETTEVIL­LE — Bertina Sachoun died June 12, 2013, in Fayettevil­le. She was born in Moen Peniesane, Chuuk, on Aug. 30, 1936.

Bertina was predecease­d by her husband Norberto Raymond and one son.

She is survived by sons: Akinomy Akuo and wife Susi of Chuuk, Wapas Akuo and Urie of Chuuk, Revlis Raymond and Carleen of Fayettevil­le, Franky Raymond and Kay of Lincoln, Entais Raymond of Tokinta of Chuuk, Brain Raymond of Guam, Billyray Kaipat of Springdale; and daughters: Akie Curley of Guam, Begonia Kaipat and Bill of Fayettevil­le; eight grandchild­ren: Sutao, Bobby, Rayleen, Swanson, Glen, Sylvaana, Atty, Corina and many great-grandchild­ren.

Arrangemen­ts are pending with Westfield Funeral Home.
