FARMINGTON Tennis Courts Open To Community
The Farmington High tennis team is hosting four community tennis nights when the courts will be open free to the public. The time will be 6-8 p.m. each date: July 18, July 25, July 30 and Aug. 1. For more information, contact tennis coach Matt Mahan at mmahan@farmcards.org.
LINCOLN Lincoln PeeWee Football Registration
Lincoln PeeWee Football sign- ups will be held Saturday, July 27, at 9 a.m. in the Middle School Gym. Registration is $35 a player; registration forms will be available at Lincoln Water Department or Lincoln Central Office. PRAIRIE GROVE All-Night Softball Tournament and plate supper
The NWA Crush Elite is sponsoring a girls 14 and under All-Night softball tournament to be played at Prairie Grove with games starting at 8 p.m. on Friday. For more information contact Darren Bignar at 422-6895.
“We still have a few open holes,” Bignar said. “We have eight teams right now but we’ll take 10 or 12 if they want to play.”
A plate supper featuring a barbeque menu will be offered at 6 p.m. as part of the fundraiser.
The tournament is part of a fundraising effort in support of the NWA Crush Elite, who have earned a spot in the 18 and under softball national tournament to be held July 29-Aug. 4 at Roanoke, Va.
