Prairie Grove High graduates recently received scholarships to the university of their choice.
Caleigh Moyer of Lincoln, a recent graduate from Prairie Grove High School, has been selected to receive a Top Ten Percent scholarship from Southern Arkansas University. This scholarship includes $2,550 per semester and has a four year value of $20,400. Moyer also received a $ 1,000 academic scholarship from Farm Credit Bureau. She is pursuing an agriculture-business degree at SAU. Moyer is the daughter of Jerry and Dyanna Moyer.
Erin Galloway of Fayetteville has been awarded the Mattison Endowed Scholarship to pursue an education at the Univers i ty of Arkansas. The scholarship was established to encourage deserving students who have graduated from Prairie Grove High School to pursue an education at UA.
Shelbi Moore of Prairie Grove has been awarded scholarships from the College of Education and Health Professions at the University of Arkansas.
Moore received the Laura J. Yeater Scholarship. She is a graduate student childhood education major and plans to graduate in May 2013. Moore is the daughter of Clark Moore and KaeLinda Moore-Adams of Prairie Grove and is a graduate of Prairie Grove High School.
Local residents receive degrees:
Hannah Coffey of Prairie Grove received a bachelor of science degree in exercise science from Harding University.
Shawna Gragg of Lincoln received a master of arts education in special education with a teaching license from Harding University.
Kasie Dawson of Farmington received a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy from John Brown University. Dean’s List: Connor Brogan of Lincoln earned a place on Dean’s List at Berklee College of Music, Boston, Mass.
