Gardening Club

A new Farmington Gardening Club is being formed that will feature educational meetings with guest speakers and occasional beautification projects around the community. Anyone interested in becoming a member should call City Hall at 267-3865 to leave contact information.

School Enrollment

Farmington High School enrollment dates: new student enrollment, 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 6; ninth grade Student Orientation, 1-3 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 15; Open House for all grades, 3-6 p.m., Aug. 15; first day of school, Monday, August 19.

School Bonanza

Farmington United Methodist Church will sponsor its eighth annual Back to School Bonanza on Tuesday, Aug. 6. Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. and families will be able to wait inside the church, located at 355 Southwinds Drive in Farmington. The bonanza is open to kindergarten age children through 12th grade, regardless of income or address. Free giveaways will include athletic shoes and socks,

Farmington High tennis team is hosting community tennis nights when the courts will be open free to the public and is an opportunity for members of the community to hit some balls with the team.
