Open House Folsom Elementary and Williams Elementary will host Open House and Curriculum Night on Thursday, Aug. 15. Kindergart­en at 4 p.m., first grade at 4:30 p.m., second grade at 5 p.m., and third grade at 5:30 p.m.

Kindergart­en Registrati­on

Lincoln Elementary will be holding kindergart­en registrati­on from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday-Thursday. Please bring the following items when enrolling a child: Social Security card, birth certificat­e, physical and shot records.

Sweet Mornings Lincoln Senior Center is sponsoring “Sweet Friday Mornings” and selling homemade cinammon rolls and coffee on Fridays in August. Proceeds will benefit the Meals on Wheels. Food will be available 7:30-9:30 a.m. and is order in or carry out. Costs will be $3 for a cinnamon roll and coffee; $10 for half a dozen and $15 for a dosen cinnamon rolls. Choose from: regular or rolls with raisins, walnuts, cream cheese and cherry or pecan cinnamon for $18 a dozen. Call the center at 824-3861 for more informatio­n or to order. Golf Tourney Fundraiser The Lincoln athletic department is hosting their annual golf tournamen Aug. 17 featuring a 3-man scramble at the Valley View Golf Club with a 9 a.m. shotgun start. Entry fees are $160 per team or $60 per player. First place prize is $ 300 minimum with second listed at $150 minimum. Both payouts may go up depending upon the number of entries. Door prizes are on tap with prizes for specialty holes, including: hole-in-one, longest drive, closest to pin and longest put. Checks should be made out to Lincoln Athletics. PRAIRIE GROVE

Middle School Open House Prairie Grove Middle School open house is scheduled for Thursday, Aug. 15. Grades 6- 8 may pick up their schdules at 5:30 p.m. in the big gym followed by an assembly at 6 p.m. Fifth graders may pick up their schedules at 6 p.m. in the cafeteria followed by an assembly at 6:30 p.m. Students may then go see their classrooms and

meet the teachers.

Vacation Bible School Summers Baptist Church is hosting its annual Vacation Bible School July 31 - Aug. 2 from 6-9 p.m. The theme is “God is Calling” with a Duck Dynasty theme.
