McMillan Weds Dold

Jaclyn Suzanne McMillan wed Nathan Brent Dold on June 21, 2013.

The bride is the daughter of Mike and Bonnie McMillan, of Pleasant Plains, Ill., and the granddaugh­ter of Roy and Juanita McMillan, of Pleasant Plains, and the late Ray and Cozetta Beard, of Pleasant Plains.

The groom is the son of Joelle and Mark Humphrey, of Farmington, Ark.; and Oscar “Bo” Dold, of Westville, Okla.; and the late David Farmer Sr., of Siloam Springs, Ark., and the grandson of Carolyn and Roy Walker, of Delaney, Ark., and the late Oscar Dold Sr., of Westville, Okla., and the late Viola Ball, of Piney, Okla. He is the great- grandson of Rosena Hall and the late Earl Hall, Sr., of Westville.

The bride is a 2001 graduate of Pleasant Plains High School and a 2005 graduate of Anderson University, of Anderson, Ind., with a bachelor’s degree in family science.

The groom is a 2002 graduate of Colcord (Okla.) High School.

The bride is a major league fan of St. Louis Cardinals baseball.

The groom is a musician and once learned the guitar chords for a number of Christmas carols in a single afternoon, then accompanie­d his mother and step- grandmothe­r at a Christmas concert at the Big Horn County Jail, at Hardin, Mont.

When the concert was finished, an inmate requested to have Silent Night played again with no singing and as Dold strummed his guitar the inmate began singing the words in the Native American language of the Crow Indians.

The couple celebrated their honeymoon at Branson, Mo., and plan to reside in northwest Arkansa s .
