Meals On Wheels Receives Money
Happy beautiful October morning, seniors.
Thank you to all who assisted with and attended the Arkansas Apple Festival breakfasts we had at the Lincoln Senior Center. I wimped out and had bronchitis so this was the first one in four or five years that I couldn’t attend and I really missed it. But from what I hear everyone had a great time and so good to see all

the vendors once again. Thank you all for the part you played in it.
We thank Rosie Davis for making and donating the beautiful Razorback quilt that was raffled off for $851. What a boost that was to the Meals On Wheels program. The drawing was Oct. 6, last day of the Applefest and it was won by Ms. Lou McClellan of Springdale. What a “boost” that was as well to a Razorback fan. Congratulations, Ms. McClellan.
We need to say another big thank you to the Lincoln American Legion for the $500 donation for the Meals On Wheels program. The community of our great little city is a proud supporter of the center and Meals On Wheels, and it is certainly appreciated and much needed. God bless you all for sharing your love with us and those we serve.
The OK Country Band will be here Oct. 22 to play for the dance. That is a fun and special evening so hope to see everyone here for that. And, of course, the regular activities continue as well.
