Ice Cream Social
Tickets are now on sale for $10 per person at the Farmington Senior Center for the Ken Harvey Ice Cream Social and Show to be held at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, July 11. All proceeds to benefit Meals on Wheels. Phone: 479-2675709.
Fireworks Display
Farmington will sponsor its annual fireworks display Saturday, July 5, at the Farmington High football field. Fireworks will go off at dark, around 9 p.m. The public is invited to bring blankets, chairs and enjoy the show.
DUTCH MILLS
July 4 Celebration
Liberty Baptist Church will be holding a July 4 celebration, starting at 6 p.m. Entertainment will be bluegrass music by Flinthill Ramblers; hamburgers, hot dogs, side dishes and desserts available. Fireworks show to follow. For more information, 479-848-3472.
PRAIRIE GROVE
Car, Truck Show
Second Chance Car and Truck Show, benefiting Friends of Prairie Grove Pound is set for July 19, starting at 7:30 a.m. at Life Ministries, across from Battle Field Park. Donations will be taken. All pets welcome.
Celebrate Prairie Grove
Prairie Grove will sponsor a special event, called Celebrate Prairie Grove, on Saturday, July 5, at the Aquatic Center. The pool will open at 7 p.m. that day with free admission, free food and drinks and a fireworks show at dark. Several door prizes will be given away during the evening. The celebration is a chance for the community to come together to swim, eat and celebrate the birthday of the city. Families are invited to come and have a good time.
RHEAS MILL
Special Meeting
Rheas Mill Cemetery Association will have a special meeting 6 p.m., Wednesday, July 9, at Rhea Community Church. Members will vote on members and also to set up bylaws for the cemetery. All people connected to the cemetery are encouraged to attend the meeting.
