Green Friday At Park Prairie Grove Battlefield State Park will have its Green Friday weekend, Nov. 28-30. Activities each day include 10 a.m. Battlefield tour, free; 2 p.m. House Tour, with admission $5 adults, $3 children or $15 family; 3 p.m. Battlefield tour, free. Hindman Hall Museum and Visitor Center will be open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The gift shop will have a special sale.
LINCOLN
Christmas On Square City of Lincoln will hold its annual Christmas On the Square from 5:30 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 13 on the downtown squre.
Thanksgiving Meal Burger Land is offering free Thanksgiving meals. Only 300 have registered so far and there are 600 meals being prepared. Call 824-3724 to order a meal.
CANE HILL
Tree Lighting The annual Cane Hill Tree lighting will be Saturday, Nov. 29, starting at 6 p.m.. What started with an anemic tree victim of storm propped up next to the old Cane Hill BBQ, has become a holiday tradition in the quaint burg of Cane Hill. The centerpiece has morphed from the cut cedars of Springfield Ranch propped against an old tree trunk, to a permanent tree planted amid pomp and ceremony. The Cane Hill Christmas Tree will be illuminating downtown evenings until the Feast of Three Kings. For more info please call 824-8109.

Chili Supper Rheas Mill Community Chili Supper is set for 6 p.m., Dec 6, at the community Building. All donations go to the building fund. Contact information is 846-3067 and ask for Steve.
