Sandra Sharp Whitehouse

PRAIRIE GROVE — Sandra Sharp Whitehouse, 73, a resident of Prairie Grove, passed away Nov. 23, 2014, at Washington Regional Medical Center. She was born Feb. 3, 1941, in Strickler, Ark., the daughter of Loyd and Georgia Norris Sharp.

Sandy married Ray Whitehouse on July 1, 1960, in Prairie Grove. She worked at Farmers and Merchants Bank, now known as Arvest, for 34 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Mary Lou Yowell, Pat Finch and Maxine McClelland.

Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Ray Whitehouse; two sons, Michael Whitehouse and his wife, Susan, of Springdale, Ark., Mitchell Whitehouse and wife, Cindy, of Prairie Grove; - house and his wife, Mallory, Mason Whitehouse and his wife, Allison, Melanie Whitehouse, Natalee Whitehouse and Ian Whitehouse; two step-grandchild­ren, Sarah Bratti and her husband,

Jessica; two step-great-grandsons, Trenton Bratti and Jax Bratti; one great-granddaugh­ter, Lennon Whitehouse; a host of nieces and nephews.

Arrangemen­ts were under the direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home.

Funeral service was held Nov. 28, 2014, at First Baptist Church in Prairie Grove. Burial was in Prairie Grove Cemetery. There will be no graveside services held at the cemetery.

Elaine Yancey Bible

FARMINGTON — Elaine Yancey Bible, 68, a resident of Farmington, Ark., passed away Nov. 25, 2014, at Willard Walker Hospice Home. She was born Jan. 2, 1946, in Arkadelphi­a, Ark., the daughter of Halley Scott and Bertha Fendley Yancey.

She was preceded in death by She is survived by her two children, Lisa Gayle Bible of Farmington, Ark., and Brian Bible and wife, Kierstin, of Bella Vista, Ark.; one granddaugh­ter, Sara Margaret Bible; one brother, Bill Yancey of Lincoln; four sisters, Marilyn Runyan of Arkadelphi­a, Virginia Walker of Farmington, Martha Tucker of Maysville and

Linda Henderson of Bentonvill­e; numerous nieces and nephews.

Arrangemen­ts were under the direction of Luginbuel Funeral Home.

Funeral service was held Nov. 29, 2014, at Sang Avenue Baptist Church. Burial was in Farmington Cemetery.

Joe Bailey

FAYETTEVIL­LE — Joe Bailey, 74, of Fayettevil­le, Ark., passed away Nov. 25, 2014. He was born 1939, in Fayettevil­le, to parents Loy Bailey and Mildred Ragsdale Bailey.

He was a Sales Manager He served in the Army National Guard during the Little Rock a licensed funeral director and - neral Home. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Fayettevil­le and was the founder and retired president of the Farmington Chamber of Commerce.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Janell Bailey.

He is survived by sons, Jeff Bailey and his wife Mechelle, and Scott Bailey and his wife Laura, all of Fayettevil­le; one brother, Ken Bailey of Farmington; and

three grandchild­ren, Ally, Austin and Madysen Bailey.

Funeral service was held on Nov. 29 at First Baptist Church in Fayettevil­le with burial following at Fairview Memorial Gardens.

Freda Irene Reed

LINCOLN — Freda Irene Reed, 45, a resident of Lincoln, passed away Nov. 26, 2014, at her home. She was born Oct. 29, 1969, in Van Buren, Ark., the daughter of Reed and Anna Sue Mongold.

She was preceded in death by her stepmother Mamie Burlean Reed and her mother Anna Sue Mongold.

Survivors include her father and stepmother Roger and Phyllis Reed of Lincoln; three sisters, Barbara Holden of Cane Hill, Ark., Karen Carlton of Stilwell, - phur Springs, Ark., and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral service was held Nov. 28, 2014, at the Sugar Hill Community Church in Lincoln, Ark., with burial in Ewing Chapel Cemetery in Stilwell, Okla.

Arrangemen­ts were under the direction of the Luginbuel Funeral Home of Prairie Grove, Ark.
