Kids Warrior Dash A Kids Warrior Dash will be held Saturday, June 27, at Farmington Creekside Park. Registrati­on begins at 8 a.m. and races start at 8:30 a.m. Cost is $15 per child. Divisions will be ages 6-9 and 10-12 for both girls and boys. Each child will receive a participat­ion medal. Proceeds fund activities at Farmington United Methodist Church.

Freedom Fest The annual Farmington Freedom Fest will be held Saturday, July 4, with fireworks for the community to enjoy. Fireworks will go off at dark, around 9 p.m., from the middle school.

Golf Ball Drop Farmington Senior Center will sponsor a golf ball drop on Saturday, July 4 before the fireworks display at the football stadium. Sarting at 5 p.m., the center will sell golf balls for $5 each and the golf balls will be dropped before the fireworks show starts. The winner will receive a $100 cash prize. Purchasing a golf ball for $5 buys a meal for a homebound senior. Proceeds benefit Meals on Wheels.

PRAIRIE GROVE

Senior Center Fundraiser­s

Prairie Grove Senior Center will sponsor a bake sale beginning at 8 a.m., June 19 in Prairie Grove Arvest Bank lobby with lots of homemade goodies, including famous pies. Proceeds benefit Meals on Wheels. Masonic Lodge Breakfast A breakfast will be held 6-10 a.m. Saturday at Prairie Grove Masonic Lodge, 114 N. Mock St., across from PG Telco.

June Chamber Meeting

The June meeting for Prairie Grove Chamber of Commerce will be noon, Thursday, June 25 inside the new high school gymnasium. Lunch will be provided for $5. Chamber members will get a tour of the new gym and new elementary school. Please RSVP to dalereed@pgtc.com if you plan to attend. Celebrate Prairie Grove The third annual Celebrate Prairie Grove event will be held 7 p.m. Friday, July 3, at Prairie Grove Aquatic Park. The pool will be open free to the public, hot dogs and treats will be provided and the evening will cap off with a fireworks celebratio­n. The community is invited to join the fun.
