Lela Venice Patrick
Lela Venice Patrick, 94, of Farmington, Ark., passed away June 17, 2015, at Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayetteville, Ark. She was born Oct. 22, 1920, in Asher, Ark., the daughter of Bordie and Ora Whitmire Couch.
She was a long-time resident of Patrick, Ark. She was an avid gardner and loved working in her flower beds.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband John Patrick; four children, Betty Ball, Shirley Wallace, Patricia Kelley and Donald Patrick; three brothers, Ewell Couch, Afton Couch and Miles Couch; two sisters, Mable Todd and Reba Brown; and one great-grandson, Daniel Gregory McComas.
She is survived by one sister, Leah Cunningham of Farmington; one brother, Noah Couch of Lincoln, Ark.; two sons-inlaw, Claude Wallace and wife Deloris of Lincoln, and Ray Kelley of Prairie Grove, Ark.; nine grandchildren, Kendra Vanhorn and husband Perry, Lorita Ray and husband Randall, John Gregory White and wife Kim, Margaret White, Mark White, Wayman White and wife Sheila, Tara Adams and husband Eddie, Sheila Kelley and John Kelley; 21 great-grandchildren and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral Service were held at 10 a.m. Saturday June 20, 2015, at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove. Burial was in Patrick Cemetery in Patrick, Ark.
Memorials may be made to the Patrick Cemetery or Willard Walker Hospice.
Pallbearers were: John Kelley, Joshua Foster, James Foster, Greg White, Mark White, Wayman White, and Perry Vanhorn
