Dinner To Go
First United Methodist Church at 1401 E. Parks Street will again have its annual “Beef On the Run” dinners to go from 5 to 7 p.m. Oct. 23. Each boxed dinner is $5 and will include a barbecue sandwich, chips, cookie and drink.
Pee Wee Basketball
Registration continues through Oct. 26 for Prairie Grove students (also home schooled) who want to participate in 2015 Pee Wee basketball. Forms are available at pgpeeweebooster.org. Heroes Unmasked
Prairie Grove First United Methodist Church invites children and parents to Heroes Unmasked Fall Festival. All kids have heroes. At our Heroes Unmasked event, kids will meet heroes worth having—and have a ball at carnival games as well. Heroes Unmasked is an exciting way for kids to learn more about God’s love. Children and their families will encounter costumed Bible Hero Actors, play more carnival games, do crafts and decorate cookies.
Heroes Unmasked is on Oct. 28, doors are open 6-8 p.m. The church is located at 1401 East Parks Street, Prairie Grove. For information, call 479-409-5970.
Trunk or Treat
Prairie Grove Police Department will sponsor its second annual Trunk or Treat from 5 to 7:30 p.m. Oct. 30. This year it will be located at Prairie Grove Battlefield State Park, across from Collier Drug. Children ages 2-14 will receive free Halloween bags. Scruff McGruff will be there and games are planned for children. The department is accepting donations to help with the event. For more information, call 846-3270.

Cemetery Preservation

Farmington Freshman Academy Report to the Public will be given 6 p.m. Oct. 22 in the high school library.
Library Fall Book Sale
Friends of the Farmington Library will sponsor a fall library book sale. More than 4,000 books, DVDs, CDs and other items will be available at great prices. The sale will be Oct. 23 from noon to 5 p.m. and Oct. 24 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. For more information, call 267-2674.

Holiday Bazaar
Farmington Project Graduation 2016 will sponsor a Holiday Bazaar from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 7, at Farmington High School. More than 40 vendors and local crafters are registered. Bazaar will include giveaways, quilt raffle, gifts, home decor, jellies and many other items. Admission is $2. Children 10 and under are free.
