Ricky Allen Alderson

Ricky Allen Alderson, 56, of Prairie Grove, Ark., passed away Dec. 13, 2015, at his home. He was born June 12, 1959, in Springdale, Ark., the son of Wayne Farrel and Norma Jean Davis Alderson.

He was preceded in death by his father; maternal grandparen­ts, Bill and Era Davis; and paternal grandparen­ts, Jesse and Hattie Alderson.

He is survived by his wife, Susan Bone Alderson; one son, Taylor Alderson and wife Catherine of Indio, Calif.; one daughter, Megan Wood and husband Jerrame of Prairie Grove; his mother, Norma Jean Alderson of Farmington, Ark.; one brother, Joey Alderson of Farmington; two sisters, Denise Baugh of Farmington and Jennifer Estep and husband Greg of Prairie Grove; two grandchild­ren, Aubree and Ardynn Wood of Prairie Grove; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Friday, Dec. 18, 2015, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Prairie Grove Church of Christ.

Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 19, 2015, at Prairie Grove Church of Christ in Prairie Grove. Burial will be in Elm Springs Cemetery. There will not be a graveside service.

Memorials may be made to the Rick Alderson Funeral Fund at any Arvest Bank.

Troy O. Drain

Troy O. Drain, 81, of Farmington, Ark., passed away Dec. 10, 2015, at Willard Walker Hospice Home in Fayettevil­le, Ark. He was born Jan. 7, 1934, in Asher, Ark., the son of Merit Wade and Altie Combs Drain.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Wanda Fay Jones Drain; four brothers, Bill Drain, Willie Drain, Earnest Drain and Roy Drain.

He is survived by one son, Michael Eugene Drain and wife Cindy of Farmington; one daughter, Michele Lynn McConnell and husband David of Farmington; seven grandchild­ren, Sarah Kay McConnell, David Craig McConnell, Matthew Troy Farmer, Parker Meadors, Amanda Bohanan, Eric Kienholz and Holly Shelby; and seven great-grandchild­ren.

Funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2015, at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, Ark., with burial in Farmington Cemetery. There were no graveside services.

Pallbearer­s were his grandsons.
