Alice Fern Davis, 82, of Farmington, Ark., passed away Feb. 2, 2016, at Willard Walker Hospice in Fayettevil­le, Ark. She was born July 11, 1933, in Madison County, Ark., the daughter of Joseph and Ammoth McCoy Sloan.

She was a member of Prairie Oaks Baptist Church and was an avid Razorback fan.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Davis in 1994; two brothers, Bob Sloan and Loy Sloan; and four sisters, Irene Hankins, Maxine McCarver, Phyllis Myers and Juanita Spinks.

She is survived by two daughters, Judy Bailey and husband Hugh of Farmington and Shelly Greninger and husband Ron of Prairie Grove, Ark.; seven grandchild­ren, Eric Bailey and wife Shelly, Chad Bailey and wife Misty, Trey Bailey and wife Chelsy, Caitlin Gragg and husband Darrick, Cambre Pergeson, Ben Greninger and Samantha Johnson; eight great-grandchild­ren, Landon, Lindley, Peyton, Paige and Austen Bailey, Mason Greninger, Cameron and Jaylen Johnson; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 5, 2016, at Prairie Oaks Baptist Church in Prairie Grove with burial in Mt. Olive Cemetery in Elkins.

Pallbearer­s were: Eric Bailey, Chad Bailey, Trey Bailey, Darrick Gragg, Lonnie Myers, Troy Myers, Carl Sloan and Larry McCarver.
