Richard Harding Cureton, 68, of Prairie Grove, Ark., died Friday, March 4, 2016, with his wife Patti by his side at Willard Walker Hospice in Fayettevil­le, Ark. He was born March 6, 1947, in Salida, Colo., to Warren and Ruby (Giebfried) Cureton.

He attended school in Leadville, Colo., served four years in the Navy and was a Vietnam Veteran. He retired from Kiewit Constructi­on in 2013 as a Craft Superinten­dent. He attended Main Street Baptist Church. He enjoyed time with his family and friends, going to the movies and playing Pitch.

He was preceded in death my his parents; brother, John Cureton; and stepson, Joseph Phillips.

He is survived by his wife of 22 years, Patti Ann Cureton of the home, Prairie Grove; children, Cindy ( Mark) Schneider-Ault of Deltona, Fla., Chad (Monica) Cureton of Fayettevil­le, Patrick (Jennifer) Phillips of Chickasha, Okla., Lindsey ( Brandon) Prichard of Fayettevil­le, and Joshua (Chelsea) Phillips, Blanchard, Okla.; grandchild­ren, Garrett Cureton, Gavin Davidson, Jesse Cureton, Joie Cure- ton, Allison Phillips-Fowler, Grace Schneider, Joel Cureton, Rhyder Phillips, and Spencer Phillips; sister, Marsha ( Larry) Chivers, Brighton, Colo.; brother, Van (Shawna) Cureton of Dallas, Texas; and several nieces and nephews. He was a loving husband, father and grandfathe­r and will be greatly missed by all.

There will be a celebratio­n of his life June 11, 2016, in Balltown, Colo. Burial at Resthavan Cemetary in Oklahoma City, Okla.
