FARMINGTON

Landscape Public Hearing Farmington Planning Commission will have a public hearing at 6 p.m. Monday (April 25) on changes to the city’s Landscape Ordinance. The public is invited to attend and give their comments.

Cardinal Photo Contest Farmington Senior Center is sponsoring a photo contest for the best picture of a Cardinal. Entry fee is $10 and there is no limit on the number of photos that can be submitted. Winner receives $100.

Deadline is April 27. Bring color photos to the center, 340 W. Main St., or email to farmingtonsc@aaanwar.org.

PRAIRIE GROVE

Benefit To Help Expenses

A benefit will be held Thursday, April 21 at Prairie Grove High School with all proceeds to go to Lala Stopp, who is battling stage 4 colon cancer. The benefit includes a chili supper, pie auction and a drawing for a new Henry .22 rifle.

Tickets are $5 for the rifle drawing. Other items will be available through auction. The benefit starts at 5:45 p.m. Pre-Kindergarten Registration Enrollment for Prairie Grove Elementary PreK will be noon-6 p.m. April 21 at the elementary school. Prairie Grove is enrolling for one ABC income based classroom and for an additional potential tuition based class. Maximum enrollment is 20 children for each classroom. Tiger Stroll Set Prairie Grove schools invite everyone to their annual Tiger Stroll and pep rally, 8:30 a.m., May 6 at the high school football field. The walk is to promote the health of students and community. Participants are asked to donate one dollar to walk, with proceeds going to Arkansas Children’s Hospital and Bright Future Prairie Grove.

Annual Spaghetti Dinner Wedington Volunteer Fire Department will have its 30th Annual Spaghetti Dinner, Saturday, April 30, 5 p.m. -8 p.m. Cost is $6 for adults, $2 for ages 6-12, under 6 free.

The fire department is located on Highway 16 West, 5 miles from I-49.
