James R. Clark
James R. Clark, 79, of Farmington, Ark., went to be with his Lord on Aug. 12, 2016, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Ark.. He was born April 28 , 19 3 7, in Randall County, Texas, the son of Charley and Ethel A. Pearson Clark.
He served in the United States Marines. He was a member of the Main Street Baptist Church, he sold and laid carpet in the Prairie Grove area for over 30 years and later opened Lucky 7 Carpets and Clark’s Paint and Decorating in Fayetteville.
He was preceded in death by three brothers and one sister.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Joanna Clark; two daughters, Sharee Walters of Farmington and Connie North of Altus, Okla.; one son, Jimmy Edward Parker of Austin, Texas; one brother and two sisters; six grandchildren, Danny Means, Steven Means, Teresa DeBus, Brett Parker, Danny North and Dale North; and numerous great-grandchildren.
Funeral service was held at 4 p.m. Monday, Aug. 15, 2016, at Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove, Ark. Burial was in Prairie Grove Cemetery and there were no graveside services.

Jarren Truman Sorters
Jarren Truman Sorters, 15, a resident of Prairie Grove, Ark., re c e ived his ultimate healing on Aug. 11, 2016, at his home. H e wa s born Sept. 11, 2000, in Hot Springs, Ark., the son of Joey and Donna Shewbart Sorters.
He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Prairie Grove. He accepted Christ as his Savior at the age of 7. He was a competitive athlete, with his passion playing basketball and baseball. He played on many teams in the Northwest Arkansas area.
He is survived by his parents, Joey and Donna Sorters; his brother, Jackson Sorters; his paternal grandparents, Pat and Felton Sorters of Glenwood, Ark.; and his maternal grandparents, Keith and Lexie Shewbart also of Glenwood.
Celebration of Jarren’s Life was held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 13, 2016, at the Prairie Grove High School Gymnasium. Burial was in the Prairie Grove Cemetery and no graveside services were held.

Sandra ‘Sandy’ Elizabeth McCrory
Sandra “Sandy” Elizabeth McCrory, 49, of Louisville, Ky., passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, Aug. 9, 2016, at her home. She was born March 20, 1967, in Canton, Miss., the daughter of Pops (Loyd) and Peggie Stout.
She graduated from Springdale High School and was a 23-year veteran of Lowe’s from Arkansas to her home store in Shepherdsville. She was deeply passionate about Corvettes, 80’s music, and Janis Joplin. Her quick wit and love for friends and family made her “our” Sandy.
She is survived by her spouse, Julie Feltham; her beloved Sheltie, Lizzy; her mother, Peggie Stout; her brothers, Bubby and Bo; a sister, Lisa Till; extended family, friends; and her Lowe’s family.
A celebration of Life Ceremony will be announced at a later date.

Wilma A. Whorton
Wilma A. Whorton, 79, of Lincoln, Ark., died Aug. 14, 2016, at Katherine’s Place in Fayetteville, Ark. She was born April 3, 1937, in Bentonville, Ark., the daughter of Chester Hutcheson and Erma (Poor) Hutcheson.
She was raised in Bentonville and graduated from Bentonville High School. She married Basil Whorton on Sept. 12, 1955, in Bentonville. They raised chickens and cattle on their farm in rural Lincoln for 24 years. She was a member of Trinity Pentecostal Church in Siloam Springs.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Basil Whorton; and four siblings, Louis Hutcheson, Wanda Ward, Harley Hutcheson, and Lois Dean.
She is survived by three sons, Mike Whorton and wife Diana of Siloam Springs, Terry Whorton and wife Sharon of Gravette, and Tim Whorton and wife Stephanie of Lincoln; seven grandchildren, Chris Whorton, Brian Whorton, Matt Whorton, Tonya Riggins, Tyler Whorton, Josh Hatfield, and Lisa Baran; 18 great-grandchildren; and one brother, Hershel Hutcheson and wife Chris of Centerton, Ark.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 18, 2016, at Trinity Pentecostal Church in Siloam Springs.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 19, 2016, at Trinity Pentecostal Church in Siloam Springs with Pastor Mike Whorton officiating. Burial will follow at Old Union Cemetery in Cincinnati, Ark.
