Super Bingo Night Farmington Senior Activity and Wellness Center will sponsor Super Bingo on Friday, Aug. 26. A baked potato bar with start at 5 p.m. and Bingo will begin at 6 p.m. Suggested donation for meal is $3 for 60 and over and $6 for under 60. Suggested donation for Bingo cards is $2 each. Proceeds will support the Senior Center.

Farmington Stampede The annual Farmington Stampede, a 5K run/walk and 1 mile fun run/walk, will be held 8 a.m., Saturday, August 27 at Williams Elementary on Broyles Street. Gently Used Books Wanted Make the Friends of the Library fall book sale a success by donating your gently used books, DVDs or CDs and by volunteeri­ng during the sale. Items can be dropped off at the Farmington Public Library front desk. The book sale will be in October.

Clothespin Pageant Prairie Grove Junior Civic League will sponsor the Miss Clothespin Pageant, 2 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 21, at Prairie Grove High School. Entry fee is $5 for adults, $3 students. People’s Choice voting is available for $1 per vote. Clotheslin­e Fair Gospel Sing Anyone interested in singing at the Clotheslin­e Fair Gospel Sing on Sunday afternoon, Sept. 4, please call Marion Cowan at 841-3372. Each singer or group, plan on 20-30 minutes of song.

Missions Fundraiser New Sulphur Free Will Baptist Church in Prairie Grove will have a fundraiser to benefit children in mission and people in need. The event will be held 5 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 20 at the church’s family center, 13425 Hogeye Road. Cost is $5 for two hot dogs, chips, drink and cookie. A pie auction will be held and an auction for a handmade Americana queen size quilt.
