Evelyn Elaine Wright

Evelyn Elaine Wright, 69, of Springdale, Ark., passed away Oct. 4, 2016, at her home. She was born Feb. 12, 1947, in North Little Rock, Ark., the daughter of U.L. and Ada Kendrick.

She was a retired insurance broker. She graduated from Oak Grove High School and was the class Valedictorian and was a cheerleader.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband of 42 years, Bill Wright; one daughter, Kimberly Hunt of McAllister, Okla.; one granddaughter, Ashley Nikki Voorhies of Conway, Ark.; one great- granddaughter, Skye Voorhies; her dog, Dog; one sister, Becky Allen of Springdale; one brother, Mike Kendrick of El Paso, Ark.; one sister-inlaw, JoAnn Wright; and her best friend, Kathy Mercer Eades.

At her request there will be no funeral services held.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Springdale Animal Shelter.

David Robert Peck

David Robert Peck, 72, of Farmington, Ark . , passed away Oct. 6, 2016, at Washington Regional Me d i c a l Center. He wa s born July 9, 1944, in McComb, Ohio, the son of Robert and Hilda Weller Peck.

He retired from the United States Marine Corps as a Sargeant Major and served in the Vietnam War. He served as an Elder at the Prairie Grove Christian Church.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Hilda Peck; and two brothers, Kevin and Roger Peck.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Cheryl Sue Peck; five children, David Peck of Farmington, Scott Peck and wife Anne of West Fork, Ark., Tim Peck and wife Victoria, Duaine Peck and wife Lisa all of Farmington and Yvette Schrock and husband Eric of Prairie Grove, Ark.; his father, Robert Peck of New Haven, Ind.; three brothers, Steve Peck and wife Kaoru of Prairie Grove, Fred Peck and wife Ronda of Heavener, Okla., and Dick Peck and wife Tammy of Martinsville, Ind.; two sisters, Linda Peck of Prairie Grove and Rosangela Faulkner and husband Kent of Ft. Wayne, Ind.; six grandchildren, Zachary Schrock, Courtney Schrock, Daniel Schrock, Emalee Peck, Scott Peck II and Isaac Peck; and one great- grandchild, Peyton Jennings.

Funeral service was held at 10 a.m. Tuesday Oct. 11, 2016, at the Prairie Grove Christian Church with burial in the National Cemetery in Fayetteville, Ark.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Prairie Grove Christian Church, 611 Wayne Villines Rd., Prairie Grove, AR 72753.
