Nolen Farm Hosts 21st Tractor Show & Pull
The 21st annual Fall Tractor Show and Pull for Rustic Relics Antique Tractor Club will be held Oct. 15-16 at Nolen Farm in Morrow.
Gates open at 8 a.m. both Saturday and Sunday. The farm is located at the intersection of State Highway 45 and County Road 3.
The raffle tractor this year is a 1953 Farmall Super C. Tickets are a $5 donation and are available from any Rustic Relics club member. You do not have to be present to win. The drawing for the winner will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 16.
The Rustic Relics show gives
Tractor Show & Pull schedule 8 a.m. — Gates Open 12:30 p.m. — Kiddie tractor pull 1 p.m. — Parade of power 1:15 p.m. Tractor pull
visitors the opportunity to learn about the history of farming and to see antique tractors used years ago.
Museums are on site to provide more information of years gone by.
The event includes an adult tractor pull, kiddie tractor pull and a parade of power. Machine and tractor demonstrations go on throughout both days.
A new pulling class will be held this year for 2016 farm stock. The feature tractor for the fall show is an Allis Chalmers.
The tractor show and pull is free to the public and visitors are encouraged to bring a lawn chair, relax and enjoy the day. Concessions are available.
The Rustic Relics club meets at 7 p.m. the first Thursday of each month at the clubhouse on the Nolen Farm. Anyone interested is invited to attend a meeting.
