PRAIRIE GROVE

Haunted Night On Battlefiel­d Prairie Grove Battlefiel­d State Park will host its Haunted Battlefiel­d, 7-9:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 29. Admission is $2 adults, $1 children ages 3-12. Meeting place is near the Borden House.

The evening includes guided walks down to the Borden House where you will hear untold stories of the battle from those who were there. Afterwards, visit with paranormal investigat­ors to discover what they’ve uncovered during their late night investigat­ions. Finally, gather around the campfire to enjoy free hot apple cider and popcorn cannonball­s.

Trunk Or Treat Prairie Grove Police Department will have its annual Trunk or Treat at Prairie Grove Battlefiel­d State Park, 4-7:30 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 29. This year’s event will include inflatable play areas for older and younger children.

Park Public Meeting The city of Prairie Grove will have a public input meeting at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 3 for ideas on a new city park that will be establishe­d near the city wastewater treatment plan.

The public is encouraged to come to the meeting and give their ideas and comments about the proposal.

Mountain Bike Festival Ozark Off Road Cyclists will host the first Mountain Bike Festival at Lincoln Lake on Saturday, Nov. 5. The family-friendly event is free and will include several events, such as intermedia­te and advanced group rides.
