Dr. Michael D. Glover
Dr. Michael Dalan Glover, 45, a resident of Farmington, Arkansas, passed away Oct. 27, 2016, in San Jose, California. He was born May 4, 1971, in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, the son of Joe T. Glover and Evelyn Garner Frazier.
Michael graduated from Watson Chapel in 1989 and then attended the University of Arkansas, where after many years of hard work he received his Doctorate of Philosophy in Electrical Engineering. He worked for the University of Arkansas as a Research Assistant Professor in Electrical Engineering. He received the William D. and Margaret A. Brown Staff Excellence Award in 20 1 1 . Michael was active in the Farmington Cub Scouts and enjoyed spend ing time with his family. He was also a member of the Amateur Radio Club of the University of Arkansas and enjoyed Ham Radio where he made contacts all over the world.
He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Joyce and Josie Garner and his paternal grandparents Veo and Retha Glover.
Survivors include his wife Starlet Glover; two sons Evan Glover and Nathan Glover, all of Farmington, Arkansas; his father and step mother Joe T. and Cathy Glover of Pine Bluff, Arkansas, and his mother and step father Evelyn and David Frazier of Ovilla, Texas.
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Luginbuel Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m., Friday, Nov. 4 at Little Elm Missionary Baptist Church in Farmington, Arkansas, with burial in Farmington Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to an education account for Michael’s children at First Security Bank Attn: Beverly Pergeson P.O. Box 249 Springdale, Arkansas 72765.
Pallbearers will be: Keith Wilbern, Mark Sisson, Matt Francis, Scott Small, Dr. Alan Mantooth and Errol Porter. Honorary Pallbearers will be the University of Arkansas Electrical Engineering Department.
