Man Charged With Sexual Assault
A Farmington man is facing felony sexual assault 4th and also is charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor in connection with a relationship with a 15-year-old girl, according to a police report from Prairie Grove Police Department.
Adam Lee Hollerman, 37, was arrested by Prairie Grove police on May 12 following an investigation that started with the report of a missing juvenile to Fayetteville Police Department.
The girl’s father reported that his daughter had run away and suspected she would be at the Walmart Supercenter on Martin Luther King Boulevard.
The victim was interviewed by Fayetteville police, Prairie Grove police and the Children’s Safety Center.
According to the report, the victim said she met the suspect at Walmart and had been seeing him for about a year. She admitted she lied to the suspect and told him she was 19 years old and said the two had had sexual relations at a park in Prairie Grove.
In an interview with Prairie Grove police, Hollerman stated he believed the victim was a 19-year-old who lived with strict parents.
According to the Washington County Detention Center, Hollerman is scheduled to be in Washington County Circuit Court on June 14. Sexual assault 4th applies for a person older than 20 years of age and engaging in deviate sexual activity with a person who is less than 16 years of age, according to the police report.
