Ruby Ellen Wil­liams, 94, of Spring­dale, Ark., passed from this life to be for­ever present with her Lord and Sav­ior on Mon­day, Feb. 19, 2018, at Wind­crest Health and Re­hab in Spring­dale.

She was born July 4, 1923, in Hominy, Okla., the daugh­ter of John Wi­ley and Lil­lie Bell (Adams) Wood­ward. She was the sec­ond old­est of 12 chil­dren. She lived the largest part of her life in the Lin­coln and Prairie Grove ar­eas. She en­joyed al­most any ac­tiv­ity in­volv­ing the out­doors es­pe­cially tend­ing to her gar­den, her flow­ers and just go­ing for walks in the woods.

She was pre­ceded in death by her par­ents; one daugh­ter, Diane Leyva; one grand­son, John Leyva; three brothers, Ge­orge, Doyle and Bill; four sis­ters, Vesta Gates, Marie Richards, Eula Dill, and Shirley Strutz.

She is sur­vived by four sons, Richard Hen­der­son and wife Mary of Fayetteville, Ark., Tommy Hen­der­son of Tulsa, Okla., David Hen­der­son of Kansas City, Mo., and An­thony (Tony) Leyva and wife Krys­tle of Shel­don, Mo.; one daugh­ter, Rhonda Nickel and hus­band Fred of Savoy, Ark.; 13 grand­chil­dren, Nad­ica, Daniel, Melanie, Melissa, Josh, Joe, Jon, Breck, Brandi, Ash­ley, Tonya, Wraith, and Kale; 22 great-grand­chil­dren; three great-great-grand­chil­dren; three brothers, Ju­nior, Chester and Sonny; one sis­ter, Ann Har­ri­son; and nu­mer­ous nieces and neph­ews.

Visi­ta­tion and cel­e­bra­tion of her life was held Satur­day, Feb. 24, 2018, at the Lug­in­buel Chapel with fu­neral ser­vice fol­low­ing. Burial was in the Sum­mers Ceme­tery, and no grave­side ser­vices were held.
