Farm­ing­ton Li­brary Plans Art Classes

Farm­ing­ton Pub­lic Li­brary will have two art classes for the com­mu­nity in March. Space is lim­ited and regis­tra­tion is re­quired.

The first will be a Green Land­scape Paint­ing Class, 10 a.m. to noon Satur­day, March 17 or St. Pa­trick’s Day. Par­tic­i­pants will cre­ate a green land­scape paint­ing with lo­cal artist Alex Cog­bill.

The sec­ond art class will be a Funky Cow Paint­ing Class, 5:30-7:30 p.m. Mon­day, March 19. Stu­dents will cre­ate a funky cow paint­ing with lo­cal artist Alex Cog­bill.

Cog­bill owns Lo­cal Color Art Stu­dio and has six years ex­pe­ri­ence teach­ing. He has sev­eral large pub­lic sculp­tures in the re­gion, in­clud­ing a piece in the SoMa dis­trict of Lit­tle Rock.
