Dou­glas Carvin Mad­dox, 85, of Prairie Grove, Ark., passed away Wednes­day,

March 21,

2018, in Asheville,

N.C.

He was born

Oct. 7, 1932, in Mi­ami,

Fla., the son of Carvin M. and An­nie

Pearl (Woodard) Mad­dox. He served in the United States Air Force.

He was pre­ceded in death by his wife, Ar­lene R. Mad­dox; one son, Keith D. Mad­dox; one sis­ter, Betty Uetz; and one grand­son, Jonathan S. Al­li­son and his wife, Heather.

Sur­vivors in­clude five chil­dren, Shirley Bur­ton and hus­band John, Kathy Zaloudek, Steven Mad­dox, Michael Mor­gan, and Linda Dud­ley and hus­band John; 10 grand­chil­dren; and five great-grand­chil­dren.

Fu­neral ser­vice was held 2 p.m. Tues­day, March 27, 2018, at Main Street Bap­tist Church in Farm­ing­ton, Ark., with burial in the Prairie Grove Ceme­tery.
