Billy “Bill” Wayne Mor­ri­son, 90, of

Prairie Grove,

Ark., passed away Mon­day,

March 26, 2018, in Fayet­teville, Ark.

He was born April 26, 1927, in Prairie Grove, the son of William Ed­ward and Della Mae (McKee) Mor­ri­son. He was a mem­ber of the First United Methodist Church of Prairie Grove. He at­tended the Univer­sity of Arkansas and was an avid fan of the Ra­zor­backs. He was a vet­eran, serv­ing in the U.S. Navy dur­ing World War II and in the U.S. Air Force dur­ing the Korean Con­flict. He was a mem­ber of the Prairie Grove Amer­i­can Le­gion and a mem­ber of the Vet­er­ans of For­eign Wars Lodge of Lake Elsi­nore, Calif. He was a mem­ber of the Prairie Grove Ma­sonic Lodge #436. He was a 32 De­gree Ma­son of the Scot­tish Rite of Free Ma­sonry at Ana­heim, Calif., and a mem­ber of the Al Ma­likah Shrine of Los An­ge­les, Calif. He was also a mem­ber of the Prairie Grove Lions Club.

He was pre­ceded in death by his par­ents; one brother, Paul; and three sis­ters, Mary, Marie and Melva.

Sur­vivors in­clude one sis­ter, JoAnn Wilkins; a niece, Donna Jean Brain­erd and her hus­band, A.T.; five neph­ews, Dar­rell Wayne Glenn, Robert G. Wilkins and his wife, Crys­tal, Paul R. Mor­ri­son and his wife, Melba, Roger E. Wilkins and Ronald Frank Wilkins; his adopted fam­ily, Kurt and Pam Evans and their chil­dren Heather Roberts, Emily Ross and Elam Evans; and grand­chil­dren, Parker Jr., Pay­ton, Law­son and Lars.

Visi­ta­tion will be held Wednes­day, March 28, 2018, from 3-6 p.m. at Lug­in­buel Fu­neral Home. Burial will be in the Prairie Grove Ceme­tery, there will be no grave­side ser­vice held.
