Janice Louise Bryant, 85, of Lincoln, Ark., passed away Sunday, April 1, 2018, at her home.

She was born Aug. 30,

1932, in Sheridan, Wyo., the daughter of Earl and Carrie (Hiames) Hammond.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Lincoln and was a member of the Gideon’s Auxillary. After retirement she enjoyed 30 years of making handcrafts and gardening and loved to pass on her handcrafts and gardening to friends and customers at the Fayettevil­le Farmers Market. Her children, grandchild­ren and great-grandchild­ren were very near and dear to her heart. She also enjoyed the time she spent with her church family.

She was preceded in death by her father, Earl Hammond; mother, Carrie Hammond; stepmother, Susan Hammond; and one sister, Chloe Smith.

Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Harry Bryant; five children, Dean Bryant and wife Kim of Hoyt, Kan., Bruce Bryant of Muscatine, Iowa, Beth Weinbrenne­r and husband Marc of Williamsbu­rg, Iowa, Blair Bryant and wife Laurie of Los Angeles, California, and Steven Bryant and wife Randi of Muscatine, Iowa; three sisters, Hope McLaughlin of Enterprise, Ore., Audrey Wirtz of Dows, Iowa, and Alice Brook of Reno, Nev.; 11 grandchild­ren; and 16 great-grandchild­ren.

The family will receive friends 6 - 8 p.m. Thursday, April 5, 2018, at the Luginbuel Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be held 10 a.m. Friday, April 6, 2018, at First Baptist Church in Lincoln.
