Monthly Dinner & Music Bethel Grove community will have its monthly dinner and music time Friday, Oct. 5, at the Bethel Grove community building. Dinner is at 6:30 p.m. Music, featuring John Robert Hart and his group, begins at 7 p.m. Please bring a covered dish.
MORROW
Fall Tractor Show & Pull The 23rd annual Fall Tractor Show and Pull will be Oct. 20-21 at Nolen Farm at the intersection of state Highway 45 and Country Road 3 in Morrow. The gate opens at 8 a.m. both days. Activities include 12:30 p.m., kiddie tractor pull; 1 p.m., parade of power; 1:15 p.m., tractor pull. Machine and tractor demonstrations will be going on throughout the day. Free admission, concessions available.
PRAIRIE GROVE
Blood Drive Community Blood Center of the Ozarks will have a blood drive 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 4, at Prairie Grove High School, 500 N. Cole. Animal Blessings
The First Presbyterian Church will have a “Blessing Of The Animals” Service, at 2 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 6. All animals are welcome to receive a blessing from Pastor Becky Purcell. The event will be held in the lot across from the church.
Chamber Golf Tournament Prairie Grove Area Chamber of Commerce will have its annual golf tournament Monday, Oct. 8, at Paradise Valley Athletic Club, 3728 N. Old Missouri Road, Fayetteville. Entry fee is $400 per team, for a four-man scramble. Shotgun start at 9 a.m. Lunch and awards after play. Proceeds will benefit downtown beautification efforts.
