Stephanie Ni­cole Con­ner

Stephanie Ni­cole Con­ner, 29, of Lin­coln, Ark., passed away on Oct. 14, 2018.

She was born Oct. 19, 1988, in Chanute, Kan., to Charles and Deb­o­rah (Davis) Wilken. She was bap­tized to the Lord on Nov. 13, 1988. When 18 months old she was di­ag­nosed with type 1 di­a­betes. She never let it stop her and al­ways kept a smile on her face.

She at­tended and grad­u­ated from Chanute schools. While there she was in band, track and made state, bas­ket­ball and vol­ley­ball. At Kansas Wes­leyan Univer­sity, she grad­u­ated with a de­gree in lead­er­ship and busi­ness and MS de­gree. She also played on the vol­ley­ball team and still holds at least one vol­ley­ball record for the school. On Oct. 18, 2014, she mar­ried Brian Con­ner of Salina in Chanute. While in Salina, she worked for Wilson and Co., Lowe’s and YMCA. In Arkansas she worked for Lowe’s in Fayet­teville.

She is sur­vived by her hus­band, Brian Con­ner; son, Brody Con­ner of Lin­coln; daugh­ter, Ash­lynn Con­ner of Lin­coln; both par­ents of Gravette Ark.; brother, Christo­pher and Jeana Wilken of Rogers, Ark., and neph­ews; grand­par­ents, Den­nis and Erma Davis; one sis­ter-in­law and three broth­ers-in­law and fam­i­lies; and un­cles, aunts and cousins.

Memorial ser­vices were held at 2 p.m. Fri­day, Oct. 26, 2018, in Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Rogers.

Me­mo­ri­als, in lieu of flow­ers, may be made to­ward Stephanie’s chil­dren’s ed­u­ca­tion in care of the fam­ily.
