Ruthie Marie Burgess Smith

Ruthie Marie Burgess Smith, 36, of Fayetteville, Ark., unexpectedly passed away on Oct. 24, 2018, at Northwest Medical Center in Springdale, Ark.

She was born on Sept. 8, 1982, in Madison County, Ark., to Robert and Marsha Smith Burgess. She attended Prairie Grove High School and went to the University of Arkansas and was working on a degree in education. She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day

Saints and taught at Prism Education Center. She was a beloved wife and mother to five beautiful children. She was a natural mother and teacher and loved children. She loved her church and her family, most of all. The ripple effect of her love and selflessness spread far and wide. She is loved and will truly be missed by all who knew her

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Thomas Burgess and beloved stepmother, Ruth Lilian Sessions.

She is survived by her loving husband, Bryan Smith; children, Mollie, Tadd, Evie, Reagan and Baby Burgess; a niece, Alexa; brothers, Robert D., Burgie, Thomas, Robert T., Martin and Chandler Burgess; her sisters, Bobbi Scogin, Annette Williams, Lois Hassell, Ella Coffy and Bethra Flowers; and many other nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life was held Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2018, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Fayetteville. Interment was private.
