Welcome Fall, Welcome To Lincoln Library

- Dianna Payne DIANNA PAYNE IS LIBRARY DIRECTOR AT LINCOLN PUBLIC LIBRARY.

Hello Autumn! I have been waiting all year for you, and we are not disappointed! The square here in Lincoln is so beautiful right now and the hills are all changing into their beautiful bright colors! Makes you feel so alive with the crispness of the cool air, the changing leaves…. must be time for a pot of beans to be put on!

So, when you are out and about remember that we have “Toddler Time” here at the library at 9 am. Ms. Leandra shares a couple of stories and a craft for ages 1 and 2. Then we have “Story Time” for ages 3 and up starting at 10 am. These classes are on Wednesday mornings, free and open to the public.

Ms. Leandra also hosts a “Young Writer’s Club” for ages 11-13. This Nov. 6 the club will be discussing “Conclusions and Resolutions” with discussions about strong endings for their stories. They will also share the conflicts they created for the heroes to solve. This class is from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.

As always if you have any questions, please call the library at 479-824-3294 and we will be happy to help you.

Come in for the latest in movies and check out some of our “old” stuff. We have had a lot of donations this past year (Thank you so much!) and we have added to our Stephen King collection as well as our Sci-fi collection.

We also have Voter Registration Forms if you want one, they are free. And while you are here get a cup of coffee on these chilly days or some hot chocolate!

Come by and check us out!
