Shelly Rae Curran, 55, passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2019, in Farmington, Ark., following a nine-month battle of stage

IV stomach and liver cancer. She was born on

Oct. 3, 1963, in Duluth, Minn., to Tommy and Beatrice (Lang) Johnson.

She lit up every room she walked into and was loved by so many. She was a Cosmetolog­ist who graduated from Fayettevil­le Beauty College in 2005 and loved all things hair. She spent most of her time chasing after and caring for her kids and her granddaugh­ter. She loved traveling, landscapin­g, interior decorating, watching movies, jamming out to music in her car, shopping, and being with family and friends. She was an active volunteer for many school functions with all three kids. Shelly regularly attended Cross Church in Fayettevil­le. She had the biggest heart and will be missed every single day.

She was preceded in death by her nephew, Bryse Johnson.

She is survived by her husband, Ron Curran of Farmington; one son, Ryan Pinkerton and wife Kasha of West Fork; two daughters, Raka’ Pinkerton of Rogers and Rylee Curran of Farmington; two stepsons, David Curran and wife Samantha of Little Rock; Patrick Curran of Fayettevil­le; one stepdaught­er, Catie Wiggy and husband Seth of Frederick, Colo.; her father Tommy and his wife Marsha Johnson of Cookson, Okla.; her brother Cliff Johnson and wife Ranae of Cookson; and four grandchild­ren, Rowan Pinkerton, Sybil Curran, Ben Wiggy and Calli Wiggy.

A celebratio­n of her life will be held 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 26, at Nelson-Berna Funeral Home, 4520 N. Crossover Road, Fayettevil­le, AR 72764.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributi­ons may be made to Hope Cancer Resource Foundation at Hope Cancer Resources, 5835 W. Sunset Ave., Springdale, AR 72762.
