Kenneth Martin Cook, 87, of West Fork, Ark., passed away Saturday, Aug. 17, 2019, at Prairie Grove Health & Rehab in Prairie Grove, Ark.

He was born Jan. 13, 1932, in Winslow, Ark., the son of Melvin “Pete” and Marlis (King) Cook. He retired from Elkhart Products Company and was a member of the Assembly of God Church in West Fork.

He was preceded in death by his first wife, Oma Gabbard Cook; one son, Garland Edward Cook; one daughter, Jeanne “Elaine” Cochran; his parents; two brothers, Robert “Bob” Cook and John Mugley; and three sisters, Lanora Warren, Cathy Warren and Doris Yerton.

Survivors include his wife, Cipprianna Cook; one son, Bruce Cook and his wife Edwina of Blue Ridge, Texas; two daughters, Sherry Housley and her husband Gene of Rogers, Ark., and Denise Good and her husband Kerry Blalock of Columbus, Miss.; six brothers, Leon Cook of Hydro, Okla., Dwight Cook of Prairie Grove, Hubert Cook of Cresswell, Ore., Roy Dale Cook of Madill, Okla., Michael Cook of Lincoln, Ark., and John Wayne Cook of West Fork; three sisters, Ruby Reed of Springdale, Ark., Joyce McCaslin of Elkins, Ark., and Brenda Ackley of Gentry, Ark.; seven grandchild­ren; eight great-grandchild­ren; and two great-great-grandchild­ren.

The family received friends Tuesday, Aug, 20, 2019, from noon to 2 p.m. at Luginbuel Funeral Home with the funeral service beginning at 2 p.m. Burial was in the Zinnamon Cemetery in Strickler, Ark., with no graveside service.
