Robert Lee Wilhite

Robert Lee Wilhite, 87, of Lincoln, Ark., passed away Saturday, Dec. 7, 2019, at his home.

He was born June 11, 1932, in Odell, Ark., the son of Jess and Bessie Pearl (Dobbs) Wilhite. He served in the United States Army. He retired from Gates Corporation in Siloam Springs.

He was preceded in death by his parents; four brothers, Orvel Wilhite, Ivan Wilhite, Hubert Wilhite and Jack Wilhite; four sisters, Dovie Loftin, Cricket Cuzick, Bernice Corley and Oleta Taylor.

Survivors include his wife, Ina Jo Rose Wilhite; two sons, Ed Wilhite and his wife Vivian of LaFayette, Ind., and Darren Wilhite and his wife Cara of Shawnee, Kan.; five daughters, Dianna Russell and her husband Bobby, Sandy Norton and her husband Jay, Judy Braly and her husband Paul all of Lincoln, Brenda McReynolds and her husband Ronald of Farmington, Ark., and Melissa Remington and her husband Rick of Lincoln; 16 grandchildren, Monica, Tiffany, Tony, Jason, Julie, Nikki, Desi, Ariel, Mallory, Rhiannon, Allison, Sarah, River, Baden, Renee and Shaun; 20 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral service was held 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2019, at Summers Missionary Baptist Church in Summers, Ark. Burial was in the Bethesda Cemetery and no graveside service was held.
