Goldman Reigns As Lincoln Colors Day Queen

LINCOLN — A dream came true for a girl, who grew up enjoying basketball, a sport that runs in the family, with Abby Goldman selected as Lincoln Colors Day queen for 2020.

Lincoln held its 2020 Colors Day coronation ceremony prior to varsity basketball games against Greenland at Wolfpack Arena Friday. She started the day out as a senior maid, but before the ball ended Abby Goldman, daughter of Kelly and Ryan Goldman, made her grand entrance onto the basketball court this time wearing a formal dress. She would don her No. 13 game jersey later.

Escorted by her father and senior Clark Griscom, son of Curtis and Becky Griscom, Abby Goldman made her way out onto the gym floor then came the moment she hoped for when her name was announced as the 2020 Colors Day queen.

Averi Massey, 2019 Colors Day queen, daughter of Allen Massey and Olivia and Kevin Barenberg, returned to crown Abby Goldman as 2020 Colors Day queen. Averi Massey currently attends Arkansas Tech and made the Dean’s list last semester.

Those in attendance were introduced to the 2020 Colors Day Court appearing by class.

Freshman maid Kaitlyn Hager, daughter of Tony and Nicole Hager, escorted by her father and sophomore Rylee Remington, son of Jennifer and Roger Remington.

Freshman maid Saylor Stidham, daughter of Angie Walton and Greg Stidham, escorted by her father and junior Malik Bagsby, son of Kim Walton and Brandon Bagsby.

Sophomore maid Landree

Cunningham, daughter of Jason and Brandy Cunningham, escorted by her father and junor A.J. Valdez, son of Anthony and Chrystal Valdez.

Sophomore maid Lorinda Miller, daughter of Ed and Mary Miller, escorted by her father and sophomore Lincoln Morphis, son of Russell Morphis and Mandy Keester.

Sophomore maid Autumn Wilson, daughter of Frank and Laura Wilson, escorted by her father and sophomore Trey Reed, son of Leslie and Lisa Reed.

Junior maid Chloe Dawson, daughter of Nigel and Valerie Wilson, escorted by her father and junior Tyler Brewer, son of Nick and Missy Brewer.

Junior maid Hannah Noyce, daughter of Zack and Sarah Noyce, escorted by her father and junior Daytin Davis, son of Eric and Kayla Davis.

Junior maid Nadia Ortiz, daughter of Julian and Maria Ortiz, escorted by her father and junior Cody Webb, son of Colburn and Jessica Webb.

Junior maid Keara Wallace, daughter of Shane and Jennifer Wallace, escorted by her father and senior Chase Hutchens, son of James and Rami Hutchens.
