Phyllis Louise Ferguson LeRoy L. Holm

Phyllis Louise Ferguson, 92, of Prairie Grove, Ark., passed away Friday, Jan. 15, 2021, at her home.

She was born Nov. 20, 1928 , in Washington County, the daughter of John W. and E l izabe th (Shumate) Gaines. She was a life-long resident of the Bethel Grove Community. She was a Baptist. She graduated from Prairie Grove High School in the class of 1945 and retired as a bookkeeper for Williams Tractor in Fayetteville and a retired cattle farmer.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, James O. Ferguson.

Survivors include her two daughters, Valerie Skelton and Vickie Ferguson both of Prairie Grove; and two grandchildren.

Funeral service was held 3 p.m. Monday, Jan. 18, 2021, at Prairie Grove Cemetery Pavilion in Prairie Grove. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Washington Regional Hospice, 325 Longview Dr., Fayetteville, AR 72703.

LeRoy L. Holm, 82, of Fayetteville, Ark., passed away Monday, Jan. 11, 2021, at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville. He was born May 3, 1938, in Loveland, Colo., the son of Leonard and Violet (Wages) Holm.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Glenda Belle Holm; his parents; two brothers, Melburn and Gregg Holm; and two sisters, Anita Holm and Judy Perky.

Survivors include one brother, John Holm and his wife Mary; two sisters, Pat Bale and her husband Dewey, and Melissa Wiley and her husband Duane; and numerous nieces, nephews, greatnieces and great-nephews.

Viewing was held Thursday, Jan. 14, 2021, at Luginbuel Funeral Home, with CDC guidelines for covid-19 in place while in attendance. Burial was in Memorial Park Cemetery in Tulsa, Okla. In lieu of flowers family ask that you make a donation in Leroy’s memory to a charity of your choice.
