✪ Ronald Kessler, the journalist and unofficial historian of the Secret Service who recently revealed the embarrassm­ent women agents feel when Joe Biden swims naked, tells us the president is obsessed with his Delaware home. “What I hear from inside the White House is that Biden’s preoccupat­ion continues to be going back to Wilmington,” he said. “When he comes back on Monday mornings, the first thing he wants to know is when he will be able to return to Wilmington. The assessment of the Secret Service agents on his detail was that he is simply lazy, focused above all else on playing golf and leaving Washington to return to his home in Wilmington!” …” ✪ Something unusual happened on the Senate floor this week. After guest pastor Robert Thune of Coram Deo Church in Omaha, Nebraska, opened Wednesday’s session, the No. 2 Senate Republican revealed that they are related. “It should come as no surprise, based on the last name, that we are related,” said South Dakota Sen. John Thune. “He is my nephew.” Thune said his brother also was a preacher and that the family shared a “rich spiritual heritage.” … ✪ There’s a new study out that would have former President George H.W. Bush spinning in his grave. Done for the veggie and dressing company Bolthouse Farms, the study said broccoli is America’s favorite vegetable, at 70% approval. Bush famously hated the green plant and once even held a South Lawn press conference to blast it. “I’m president of the United States, and I’m not going to eat any more broccoli,” he said. … ★
