While the parks are awesome during the day, there’s something about the parks after the sun goes down. Of course in fine Disney fashion, there have been a number of Vinylmations to celebrate the parks after dark.

Way back in Park Series #1, Disney released the Fireworks Vinylmation. This Vinylmation featured a fireworks design and represented the many fireworks shows from around the parks. While this figure was more general, that was the way the first couple of series of Vinylmations were created.

A few years later, Disney would release another Vinylmation based on the nighttime spectacular, Fantasmic!. This Vinylmation featured Sorcerer Mickey atop of the mountain with fireworks. What was neat about this figure was the fact that it featured silhouette of the Dragon (Maleficent) on the back.

In October of 2011, Disney would two more 9” Vinylmations based on events after the sun goes down. The Main Street Electrical Parade figures featured the Train and Dragon floats. Both Vinylmations were Limited Edition 1500 and to this day are prized pieces of many collections for not only their collectability, but also their sentimental value. The Main Street Electrical parade has been a favorite of Disney fans for many years.

Three years later, Disney would release a Park Starz Vinylmation based on the Turtle from the Main Street Electrical Parade. The Turtle was inserted in to Park Starz boxes at a rate of 1:12 and when combined with the $19 price tag of Park Starz, this Vinylmation is a fan favorite.

Disney has released a number of Vinylmations based on the events that take place after dark. While most of the nighttime based Vinylmations have been 9”, Disney has all but abandoned the 9” platform. That leaves room for Disney to release more 3” Vinylmations based on the fireworks, shows, parades and more in the future.
