Manitou Galleries is one of the foremost galleries in the West, with locations on Palace Avenue just off the Santa Fe Plaza, on the famous Canyon Road in Santa Fe and in Cheyenne, Wyoming. The gallery offers one of the finest collections of contemporary representational paintings, sculpture, prints, glass and fine jewelry, and our experienced and knowledgeable staff is always friendly and accommodating.

Manitou on Palace hosts lively openings every first Friday of the month in conjunction with the West Palace Arts District’s First Friday Art Walk. At the Canyon Road location, visitors can find the gallery open until 7 p.m. on the fourth Friday of the month, May through September. The openings feature live music in the summer and artists in attendance throughout the year.

Opening May 25 and remaining on view through June 14 is a group exhibition featuring several Manitou Galleries artists, including Jennifer O’cualain, Bryan Haynes, Amy Lay, Jeff Cochran, Alvin Gill-tapia, William Haskell, Jim Bortz, B.C. Nowlin, Gail Gash Taylor, Liz Wolf, Paul Rhymer, Jim Eppler, Debra Sindt and Hib Sabin.

Manitou Gallery asked artists to participate by choosing an animal that they personally relate with. In addition to their artwork, the gallery asked that each artist bring in a small explanation of their work to accompany each piece. These small descriptions will be displayed with the work.
