Nedra Matteucci Galleries is one of Santa
Fe’s largest and most established fine art galleries, offering an unparalleled collection of 19th and 20th century American art for more than 40 years. Housed in a meandering 200-year-old adobe, the gallery features historical Southwestern art by artists from the early Taos and Santa Fe art colonies, and the collection is continually refined and expanded to include American Impressionism and modernism. The gallery also proudly represents a select group of contemporary painters and sculptors of the American West. The beautiful grounds are an extraordinary blend of art and nature; an inviting, one acre sculpture garden is a harmonious balance of bronze and stone sculpture, punctuated by a menagerie of turtles, koi and ducks. With an ambiance that’s both welcoming and exceptional,
Nedra Matteucci Galleries offers a historical experience of Santa Fe and the greater Southwest that celebrates the architecture, culture and its remarkable legacy of art.
The Santa Fe Botanical Garden at Museum Hill will feature Gardens Gone Wild!, an exhibition of bronze animals by award-winning sculptor Dan Ostermiller, which opens on May 26. The Art of Walt Gonske: A Retrospective opens with an artist reception Saturday, June 23; the work will remain on display through July 21.
This fall, Nedra Matteucci Galleries will feature a unique exhibition of work by Alice Schille, the renowned 20th-century American watercolor artist.
