Lyn A. Fox Fine Pueblo Pottery specializes in Pueblo pottery old and new. This includes old pottery that was actually used in Pueblo homes, early- to mid-century tourist pottery, historic black pottery of San Ildefonso and Santa Clara and contemporary pottery by some of today’s masters such as Nancy Youngblood, Chris Youngblood, Russell Sanchez, Dominique Toya, Maxine Toya, Elizabeth and Marcellus Medina, Erik
Fender and others. In addition, the gallery shows a few selected New Mexican and Native painters such as Sheridan Macknight, Karen Clarkson, Chessney Sevier and Bryan Waytula as well as Hopi traditional katsina doll carver Darance Chimerica, Zuni fetish carver Brian Yatsattie and beadwork artist Charlene Holy Bear.
The gallery has a very busy season planned with artist demos and some exciting artist openings. The first seasonal opening will be new works from Chimerica on May 18 and 19; Macknight will be featured on June 1 and 2; Holy Bear on July 20 and 21; Toya on July 27 and 28; and Nancy and Chris Youngblood on August 16. In addition there will be two shows of historic Pueblo pottery. On June 1, Pueblo Bowls Then and Now opens and on August 1, Pueblo Pottery Eccentrics and Curios, 19001960s.
