Western Art Collector

Perfect 11

-

Our next issue of Western Art Collector will be issue number 132. What does that mean? It means that we’ve been publishing this magazine every single month for the past 11 years! We are incredibly proud of the fact that we are the only monthly magazine that covers the entire market for Western art, historic and contemporary, in a way that has never been done before.

A lot has changed in the publishing world since that time. But one thing that hasn’t changed is that fact that Western Art Collector is a collectordriven magazine and we pride ourselves in knowing that the best collectors of contemporary and historic art read this magazine on a monthly basis and use it to help them acquire art for their collections.

How do we know this? Simple. Our clients tell us.

Just recently Maron Hindman from Leslie Hindman in Denver reached out to us. This is what he said. “We know that our clients are paying attention when we advertise in Western Art Collector. As a national fine art auction house with an Arts of the American West category, we receive several inquiries from both buyers and sellers each time we run advertising in the publication. It’s great to know that their audience is engaged, which speaks to the quality of content delivered by Western Art Collector. We know that we can count on the magazine to help bring us new business and that we will be in good company.”

Legendary Western gallery owner Stuart Johnson also enjoys advertising in the magazine because of the results-driven focus that has been consistent in the magazine since issue number one.

“The magazine succeeds at putting things to the forefront for collectors, particularly things that haven’t happened yet,” Johnson recently told us. “When they see them in the magazine, it really shows and encourages them to go to the shows and view the art. That’s very relevant and important to us.”

It’s relevant and important to us as well and that is what motivates us to keep creating this magazine. And that is our goal as it has been since day one. A magazine that connects the best collectors across the country with the best galleries to help them find new work for their collections.

And it warms our heart knowing that this still happens. Year after year. Issue after issue.
