Artists and collectors to return to the Red Rock Arts Festival October 6 in Moab, Utah.
Moab Arts and Recreation Center is hosting the second annual Red Rock Arts Festival beginning October 6 and continuing through October 13 in scenic Moab, Utah. The weeklong event will welcome more than 100 artists from all over North America for the festival events, including the ninth annual Plein Air Moab painting competition. Other events include the Red Rock Street Fest, which takes place October 13 from noon to 8 p.m., and features artisan vendors, live music, community booths and demonstrations, plein air painting and the Arttrails Sculpture Exhibition.
This year’s art festival will celebrate land-inspired art, and artists of all levels are accepted—the festival boasts works from $20 to $1,500. More than 300 pieces of artwork will go on sale starting October 9. For information about participating visit www.redrockartsfestival.com.
