We are everywhere you want to be
As a magazine dedicated to helping collectors find new work to acquire for their collections, we naturally got involved in art fairs, gallery shows, museum shows, auctions and events early on in the popularity of such happenings over the last 10 to 15 years. We get involved with fairs for one main reason: because that is where the collectors are. And anywhere art collectors are these days we want to be there too. Nothing makes us happier than seeing collectors walk such events as the Masters of the American West, Prix de West, Night of Artists, or large group shows at galleries throughout the West with a copy of this magazine tucked under their arm.
Something we have promised since the beginning of this magazine was to make sure it was being read by the best and most active collectors on the market today. And, by sponsoring and participating in these events, we ensure that is still happening.
Case in point is this February issue you are holding in your hands. This issue is available at the Masters of the American West at the Autry Museum of the American West (CA), the Southeastern Wildlife Exposition (SC), the Celebration of Fine Art (AZ), Copley’s Winter Sale (SC), Settlers West Galleries’ American Miniatures show (AZ), Trailside Galleries’ Cowboy Country show (WY) and the Bonhams Brinkman Collection auction (CA).
We spend thousands of dollars and hours upon hours of our time researching these shows, finding the best ones across the country and then forging relationships with the show producers which allow for our magazines to be distributed at these events. It’s just something else we do to narrow the art-collecting world down for collectors and to help them find the art they wish to acquire.
Sincerely, Joshua Rose Editor
